FAQs
What is the recommended pre and post treatment advice?
For best results the hair needs to be as short as possible, please shave the area the day before or morning of the treatment. Avoiding the sun and using a high-quality SPF in the treatment area isrecommended. This reduces the risk of pigmentation. Avoid heat treatments for 2 days after the treatment to prevent any damage to the skin.
How many treatment will I need?
Best results can be seen after 6-8 sessions. However, results vary between clients.
After you have completed a course of treatments any remaining hair will usually be finer in texture and lighter in colour. Most clients will then require one or two maintenance treatments per year.
Will the hair ever grow back following treatment?
The short answer is no. Once we damaged the hair follicle, it cannot grow new hair. However, there will inevitably be a few hair follicles that manage to escape the laser during each treatment. Due to some hormonal changes there may be some new hairs that start to grow. We suggest periodic, occasional maintenance treatments for optimal long-lasting results.
